On November 14, 2024, the Philippine State College of Aeronautics-Mactan Campus participated in the Fourth Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. The drill was supervised by Mr. Irvin Saviour and assisted by the ROTC Officers, PHILSCA CYC, and SSC Officers. Students, faculty, and staff performed the “duck, cover, and hold” technique during the exercise.
The activity aimed to raise awareness and improve readiness in the event of a potential earthquake. It also reinforced the importance of emergency preparedness within the campus community. The drill provided an opportunity for everyone to practice proper evacuation procedures and familiarize themselves with safety protocols.
